Arabian Horses Make Powerful Stage Debut in NarroWay’s “Lord of Light”
Asher and Judah: NarroWay's Newest Stars

Bred at Lakewood Farm in Smyrna, SC, the horses are the last of Wanda Wood’s breeding program. Though untrained for several years, they were well-loved and visually stunning. Now, their presence has a purpose far beyond appearances.
“I was thrilled for the boys to have a purpose — especially this purpose,” says Wood. “They were just eye candy before, but now they’re part of something meaningful.”
In “Lord of Light,” Asher and Judah play the white and red horses from the book of Revelation—symbolizing conquest and destruction. With aerial performers flying above, sword clashes all around, and pulsing lights and fog, the horses remain steady and majestic amidst the chaos.
“These boys were meant for such a time as this,” says NarroWay co-founder Yvonne Clark. “It’s a lot for an animal to handle, but they embraced it beautifully.”
Trainer Lindsey DuChaine, who recently relocated from Colorado, worked closely with NarroWay to prepare the horses. With 18 years of horse training experience, DuChaine helped guide the Arabians through their first-ever stage roles.
The horses will next appear in NarroWay’s “The Real Christmas Story,” opening in November, alongside Solomon the camel and other live animals in a re-creation of the first Christmas.
