[Fort Mill SC, August 14, 2024] Ready to buy show tickets? It just got easier! As many performance venues, NarroWay uses a third-party provider for ticket sales. Recently, and after much research, Box Office Manager Kelly Reeves migrated NarroWay a new platform.
Under the direction of Executive Assistant Angelina Steele, Reeves evaluated more than 20 venue ticketing systems. “We searched for well over a year – and this is not the first time,” says Steele. “We knew we had a good platform. But there were gaps.” “We wanted a more streamlined approach for the customer experience and something that integrated better across the board,” echoes Reeves. Together, they found ThunderTix.
And while we are excited about the box office move in-house, the largest motivating factor for change was the accessibility and ease of use for our patrons. So, without further ado, here are 14 reasons we think you are going to love the new way to buy show tickets at NarroWay!
1. User-friendly interface with larger fonts and more views
Enjoy an intuitive, user-friendly interface, which simplifies the ticket-buying process. The platform’s streamlined design ensures that purchasing tickets is a breeze, with clear navigation and minimal steps required to complete a transaction. Enjoy larger fonts and choose the view you prefer, list or calendar. The initial view is a date range list. Avoid endless scrolling, simply put in a date range at the top of the list and see what shows are available!

Simply remember your e-mail address. (And enter it correctly!) Tickets can be re-sent and any changes can be accessed by links in your receipt without the need for obscure usernames and persnickety passwords.

NarroWay guests receive a delicious, themed meal at every show (with the exception of Sunday 2pm matinee performances). Vegetarian and gluten-sensitive options are also available. Previously, guests had to call the box office and request those specialty options. Now, that selection can clearly be distinguished in the checkout process. If specialty meals are required, simply mark the number needed.

If another patron exchanges tickets, waiting list customers are notified in order and have the opportunity to buy show tickets that were previously unavailable.

Season pass holders enjoy great savings and flexible dates. Until now, pass holders have been required to contact the box office to select show dates. But no more! Once the season flex pass is purchased, dates can be selected and managed online at your convenience. Season Flex Passes become available in the fall.

E-tickets are nothing new. Most customers prefer to avoid box office lines and have tickets in hand (or on the phone) prior to arrival. Now, guests have the additional amenity of adding tickets to their Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.

In the past, ADA seats were blocked from online sales. It was the only way we could ensure the availability of those seats for those with accessibility needs. While we have not obtained “big brother” abilities to monitor your home, nor do we desire such capabilities, we now have a thoughtful notification system for ticket buyers. This system provides an alert when selecting ADA seats with a friendly heads-up if those seats are purchased by someone without accessibility needs, you may kindly be reseated.
